Volunteer Society Nepal : The best experience for volunteers, the best value for Nepal.

Returning back to Normalcy

Due to the outbreak of Corona Virus across the globe followed by a long, tedious and impassable time of nearly a year, Volunteer Society Nepal (VSN) has finally got back to work officially when M/s Carmen Arias Bordajandi, a medical doctor from Spain arrived at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu on the 28th of February 2021 for three weeks. The VSN staff were very excited and enthusiastic to welcome her to Nepal. During her stay in Nepal, she would be doing health checkups in schools and assisting in health camps as and when possible.

The situation in Nepal in terms of Covid 19 is normal as compared to other countries of the world including our neighboring countries because both the infection and death rates due to Covid 19 have dropped down drastically whereas the recovery rate has risen up to 99 percent here. Schools, hotels, cinema halls, museums, zoos, etc. where there is generally a crowd of people have started functioning. International, as well as domestic flights, have been operating. Life here in Nepal has returned back to normalcy.

We are also optimistic about things back to normal at VSN as well. Anyone willing to come to Nepal for volunteering in Nepal through Volunteer Society Nepal can easily do as provided that s/he has vaccinated against the coronavirus at their country of origin.
