Volunteer Society Nepal now offers an independent Language and Culture Training Program.

If you arrive in Kathmandu as a traveler, wouldn’t it be great to learn about the language and culture before you start exploring the rest of the country? At the same time, you make friends with fellow travelers, volunteers and stay with a lovely Nepali host family.

One Week Program

Day 1: Pickup at airport and settle in with the family guesthouse.
Day 2 till 7: Language Training in the morning and visit a Cultural Heritage site in the afternoon.
Fee: 200 euro + 50 euro administration fee

Two Week Program

First week like the above.
The second week you will have morning and afternoon language classes.
Fee: 400 euro + 50 euro administration fee

The fee includes:

• Airport pick up and drop off
• Food and accommodation (breakfast and dinner) from the moment of landing at the airport to the final day of your program
• In depth cultural and language training
• Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu
• Fully trained host families
• 24hr availability of VSN Nepal staff for emergencies
• Assistance with visas and pre-departure support
• Fundraising support
• Support in booking any further travel in Nepal
