Volunteering and trekking in Nepal
Yet another volunteer to sign up with Volunteer Society Nepal is Mr Jasper from the Netherlands, who arrived in Nepal on the 15th of December to work as a volunteer for 4 weeks.
He is very much interested in working for children with intellectual disabilities. After his initial orientation, he will work in the Center for Children with Intellectual Disabilities in Kathmandu for the first two weeks.
In the second part (the remaining 2 weeks) of his stay in Nepal, he will teach the young monks of the monastery in Pokhara. He will be mainly focusing on the spoken English language together with some games.
After finishing his volunteer work for 4 weeks, he intends to go for a trek in the famous and popular Annapurna region. Volunteer Society Nepal will manage all the logistics for his trek.
