Are you a Chinese student with a passion to learn, teach and travel in Nepal? Volunteering in Nepal provides a once-in-a-lifetime experience in a truly amazing country. Volunteer Society Nepal is looking for passionate and committed Chinese students who want to help teach children in a local school.

Volunteer Society Nepal launched Chinese language teaching programs at many schools in Kathmandu. So far hundreds of Chinese students have joined us to volunteer as Chinese language teachers. The Chinese volunteers enjoy teaching at schools in Kathmandu. They also helped the children learn other subjects and joined in with extracurricular activities. The Nepali children love learning the Chinese language.

Volunteering is a Unique Cultural Exchange

The best part of volunteering is the unique exchange that is happening between Chinese volunteers and Nepali students. They both learn from each other and participate in cultural activities from both China and Nepal. This is an exciting and active way to learn about another culture. For example both parties learned each other new games. The Chinese volunteers also taught Mathematics, English and Science and helped the children at the disability center.
