Volunteer Society Nepal : The best experience for volunteers, the best value for Nepal.

VSN Women Centre has moved at a New Location

The Women Centre has been shifted to the new premises, a few hundred meters south from the existing one. We have to evacuate the place according to the request from the house owners. The house owners have to move in that house as the April 25th earthquake damaged the house where they were previously living. Â Luckily we found this place and renovated according to our needs.

Education has the potential to break the cycles of poverty and financial instability that have plagued families for generations. The role of women in Nepal has changed significantly over the past ten years. We now live in a constantly changing world where we must find new ways to reach, encourage, and challenge adult women.  Research and practices have shown that mothers have a greater impact on their children’s educational achievements than fathers.  So if we educate the woman, then we will educate a child.

Volunteer Society Nepal will proudly continue its involvement in educating the disadvantaged women in its community. Volunteers are most welcome to join hand in hand with VSN in this noble cause.
