Do you want to share your skills in a meaningful way? We are expanding our Women Center and are searching for volunteers to launch a new set of activities at our new space! We are especially looking for yoga teachers and mural artists.
The construction of the center will end in May, so in June we will be painting the center! We are looking for skilled artists to design (together with the women) and paint a beautiful mural to decorate the center.
Once the center is up and running this summer, we want to introduce a yoga or fitness class to the programs at the center. We believe health education and developing physical strength is imperative to the empowerment of women. As our yoga teacher or coach, you would be in charge of leading a few yoga classes a week for the women and other volunteers as well as training a local teacher to take your place after you leave.
