Volunteer Society Nepal : The best experience for volunteers, the best value for Nepal.
Ms Aniek Cranen from The Netherlands volunteered at the School & Women Center in Kathmandu from 7th of September till 30th of September. She taught English at the school as well as at the Women Center. We share with you her experience with Volunteer Society Nepal.
Aniek spent most of her time teaching English to the women at the women center. While we asked her to share her experience with VSN Nepal, she mentioned that she had very nice time teaching the women. The women are very enthusiastic and keen in learning. They also share new things with the volunteers. She mentioned that the staff at the women center, Miss Rabina was a very nice lady. Rabina helped her a lot for preparing the lessons for the women.
Regarding her stay and volunteering work: “Very good!! I really loved my home stay family and the food was amazing. The unforgettable moments were with the host family and the goodbyes and thanks of the women at my last day. I also got to meet other volunteers and shared valuable moments with them. The staff of VSN Nepal are very kind & nice. I really love Nepal. It’s a very nice country with such kind people!! Only the pollution is bad…”
