Field Trip Organised by VSN supported School CBIA

Career Building International Academy (CBIA) , one of VSN supported Schools, organized a three- day field trip for its students of classes 7, 8 & 9 as part of their study. The main purpose of taking field trip was to give students hands-on, real life experiences which they would not be able to have in the classroom or the laboratory. Taking field trips was an effective pedagogy.

Five students from different orphanages who are studying in this school had been sponsored by VSN for the field trip. All the Students were accompanied by teachers of Social Studies, EPH, Science and Account faculty. The teachers guided the students by describing about the flora, fauna and natural beauty of Pokhara. All the responsibilities and necessary safety measures were taken by the teachers during the entire journey. The students enjoyed the trip as a life time memory.

Nepal is famously known for being the home of Mount Everest, but there’s much more to Nepal than that. Landlocked by India to the south, east and west, and China to the north, Nepal is fiercely proud of its independence. Despite the powerhouses either side, Nepal has forged its own dynamic blend of cultures and religion that set it apart from its neighbours.

Thanks to its unique geographical position, Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world for biodiversity. In an area of only 880km at its widest point and 241km at its longest, the elevation ranges from 60m above sea level to 8848m at the peak of Mount Everest. Nepali people divide their country into three geographical regions: the Himalayas, the Hills, and the Terai.
