Kathmandu stands as the vibrant cultural nucleus of Nepal, an alluring haven for travellers since Nepal first welcomed outsiders within its borders. The city beautifully amalgamates elements of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, and Western influences within the encompassing Valley. Adjacent to this hub are Patan and Bhaktapur, two significant cities brimming with cultural and religious importance in Nepal’s tapestry.

An immersive guided excursion awaits, offering a complete day to explore the historical Durbar Square adorned with distinctive architecture and home to the revered Kumari, the living goddess. The journey continues to the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, followed by visits to the renowned ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambunath) and the Buddhists’ shrine of Buddhhanath. As dusk settles, an enriching pre-trip discussion is scheduled, where you will meet your trek leader and fellow adventurers, setting the stage for your forthcoming expedition.

We start our trip about 7 am in the morning and head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabrubensi, the first part of the drive up to Trishuli Bazaar is quite smooth, then the path moves along the gravel road and overnight at Lodge. Tamang Heritage Trail is not so far from Kathmandu, the road is hilly and winding (though spectacular), climbing high and providing us with superb panoramic views of the Annapurnas, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the peaks of the Langtang region. Meals included: Dinner.

We cross several suspension bridges following Langtang river. We pass through dense oak forest of Langtang national park along the up-down trial and reach to Bamboo (1,970m) for lunch. We trek couple of hours more to make up to Lama Hotel. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Our morning tea is followed by steady climb up along a dense forest and through the villages. Today we leave the tree line behind and get to appreciate the  invitation of Nepalese Himalayas with open heart. In front Mt. Langtang Lirung (7,227m) seems marvelous. Pass by Ghodatabela (3,030m), Chyamki village (3,230m), chortens, water mills, prayer wheels and Mani walls before getting to beautiful Langtang village. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

We make short trek with slight uphill and downhill. We will pass by many small plateaus, biggest Mani wall in Nepal and yak postures. Since, it is really a high altitude, take your time to walk slowly and acclimatize your body. Kyanjin Gompa is another wonderful land of Langtang surrounded by Himalayas. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Today also we repeat downhill trek all the way to Lama Hotel. We begin our trek after breakfast and retrace our steps to Lama Hotel. Most of the trekking today will be downhill as we pass through forests and beautiful Tamang villages. We also get to enjoy different view of the Himalayas that we had missed climbing up. Overnight in Lama Hotel. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Today also we repeat downhill trek all the way to Syabrubeshi. We descent down along the dense forest hearing anonymous sounds of Langtang khola river. Since, the whole journey is mostly downhill, we can easily make the way. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

We start our drive to Kathmandu and it takes about 9 hours, it is a pleasant drive back to Kathmandu with marvelous views of hills, mountains, terraces and villages check in to the hotel and overnight at hotel.
