Volunteer Society Nepal : The best experience for volunteers, the best value for Nepal.
The Holi festival in Nepal was recently celebrated joyously with the help of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers were warmly welcomed by the CBIA school community, as they arrived to lend their support to the school’s festivities. Holi is a colourful festival celebrated in Nepal to welcome the spring season. It is a time of joy, love, and unity, and people from all walks of life come together to celebrate. The students and teachers at CBIA School prepared for the festival with great enthusiasm, eagerly anticipating the arrival of their Italian volunteers. The celebration began with a special assembly, where students presented traditional Holi songs and dances, and the volunteers were welcomed with open arms by the CBIA school community. Following the assembly, the students and volunteers took part in a colourful procession, throwing and smearing each other with brightly coloured powders. The volunteers were amazed at the joyous atmosphere and the level of excitement that filled the air.
The celebrations continued with a range of activities, including games, food stalls, and cultural performances. The volunteers showcased their creativity by painting colourful murals and creating stunning art installations, adding to the festive atmosphere of the day. The students and volunteers had a great time together, getting to know each other and exchanging ideas about their respective cultures. The exchange program provided an incredible opportunity for volunteers to interact with school children from different backgrounds, promoting mutual understanding and respect. The students were grateful for the volunteers’ participation, and they were pleased to share their Holi festival experience with them.
